A census taker knocks on the door of a particulary uncooperate homeowner and wishes to gather data on the ages of the children living there. The census taker is told:
There are 3 children living here
But this is not enough information to answer the question, so the homeowner states :
The product of the children's ages is 72
This is still not enough information so the homeowner continues:
The sum of their ages is the same as our house number
The census owner looks at the house number and becomes very confused. He frustratedly says that this is still not enough information.. The homeowner says:
The youngest child likes chocolate pudding.
The census taker give a sigh of relief and writes down the ages of the children. What ages did he write?
