Welcome to a new year of learning!  I am so excited to be teaching middle school social studies this year.  Teaching is my passion and teaching middle school is absolutely my calling.  I look forward to a great year of learning and growing together!

Responsible Thinking Classroom 
    The purpose of having a Responsible Thinking Classroom (RTC) is to ensure that all students have the right to learn in a safe and orderly environment!  If students make the choice to not follow classroom rules, listed below are the consequences.

RTC Consequences
1st RTC: Discuss behaviors with administrator 

2nd RTC: Teacher calls home

3rd RTC: Administrator calls home

4th RTC: Intervention meeting with parents and 2 day suspension

5th RTC: 5 day suspension

RTC Incentives


You can earn the incentives below (one each trimester) by making good choices. To do so you must:

•    not be sent to RTC 
•    not have any suspensions
•    earn a “C” or better in all classes
