   Music is LIFE!!!

Heard in seven continents, MUSIC is the universal language that connects millions and millions of people all around the world. From the time we are in our mothers' womb we are able to hear music. Music has had an amazing and significant impact on the human life form. We hear music everywhwere: at parties, in elevators, at the mall, in our car.  Music can make us dance, can make us sing, make us feel, make us happy, and make us cry. Music can let us interpret every single HUMAN EMOTION POSSIBLE!!!!

Through music education, and with a vast variety of customs and cultures all around the world, we are able to learn about those cultures with their different musical elements and types of genres which can include: Samba (Brazil), Flamenco (Spain), Mariachi Band (Mexico) just to name a few.

At Excelsior Charter Academy our goal is that our students are able to enhance their cognitive processes through music education with singing, dancing, learning rhythms, dynamics and learn the basic foundations of how music can be created and expressed.
