Well, our second game of the season taught us a lot about what we need to do to keep improving individually and as a team. After getting off to a slow start and falling behind early, the girls fought back and got to within one at the half. There must have been a lid on the basket in the third quarter as we were unable to score. The Vallivue defense gave us some problems, but if we would have hit a shot or two we would have been right in it. The girls contunued to fight and push hard and gave the other team a scare by opening the 4th quarter with a few baskets. In the end, Vallivue was able to pull out a 25 to 18 victory....I'm very proud of how the girls continued to play hard and compete until the final buzzer. It was also nice to see that they weren't happy with their performance last night. I'm confident that they will come back from this and continue to improve. Next up is Jefferson on Wednesday..... (1-1) for the season.
