About Me

Hello! I'm Mrs. Angone and I'm excited to be your child's teacher. I have taught for 11 years, mostly in Kindergarten. I have my BA in Elementary Education from the University of St. Francis and my MA in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute. I am currently working on my ESL endorsement. I strive to make our classroom a place where all children feel safe, welcome, and important. I believe that play is a necessary part of learning and that a child's social and emotional growth is just as important as their academic growth. The students in my class are encouraged to explore, question and take a lead role in their learning. In our classroom we all learn together.

When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 awesome kids. We love going to our cottage in Wisconsin, playing board games and watching movies together. I also enjoy journaling, reading, and baking. I love Starbucks, shopping and all things Disney!

I can't wait to get to know your child this year!

The greatest sign of a success for a teacher…is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist. -Maria Montessori

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”
