In our Kindergarten class, we have been working on Number Writing and Counting. We just finished writing the number 0 and completing a number book about 0. We are moving onto the numbers 1 - 20.
Practice makes perfect with writing numbers.
Some tips for at home:
- have your child practice writing the numbers on lined paper
- print out a number tracing worksheet from this website: http://www.sparklebox.co.uk/md/numbers/worksheets.html and have your child work on this at home!
It is expected in Kindergarten that students master addition and subtraction facts up to 5. To help with this at home, you can print out flashcards or make your own.
