Dear River Bluff Elementary School Family,
The River Bluff PTA welcomes you to the 2009-2010 school year. We are excited and looking forward to another GREAT year at River Bluff Elementary.
One of our goals as the PTA is to help make your child’s River Bluff experience a great one. Becoming a member of River Bluff’s PTA gives you the power to decide the goals and activities that will directly impact your child’s school experience. We need your ideas to ensure that PTA is working toward goals, and supporting events, that reflect the desires and wants of our River Bluff Community. And remember, your voice is important. Without it, the needs of your children go unheard.
Here are the ways you can impact your child’s educational experience:
v First, become a PTA member
The cost is only $5 per person. This membership is your voice for your child. And each paid membership will guarantee 2 tickets for our annual fall Community Event.
v Second, come to the PTA meetings
Our meetings are the first Monday of every month. Our first meeting is Tuesday, September 8th, 6pm (due to the Labor Day holiday) in the school Cafeteria (free babysitting is available).
v Third, participate in our 2 major fundraisers
School Carnival and Silent Auction Dinner/Dance
v Finally, show your school pride & support a great cause
PTA will be selling t-shirts for $5 for members, $10 for non-members. This discount will only last until September 18th!!
