My name is Mrs. Miguelez and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I am a proud graduate of Florida International University. I received a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and obtained an ESOL Endorsement with cum laude honors. I then went on to earn a Masters of Science in Education from Barry University. I absolutely love teaching and working with children. Along with teaching the standards, my goal is to help students develop a sense of responsibility for their own learning, their behavior, and their choices.
Teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience in the classroom. I understand the importance of fostering an environment that is welcoming and conducive to learning. I hope to work together with you to meet your child’s individual needs. It is important that you encourage your child at home by helping to ensure they have completed their assignments. I am looking forward to teaching your child and providing meaningful experiences to develop a lifelong love for learning. I truly want their first year to be a positive experience.
