Welcome to my class!
Welcome to Cactus Middle School! I'm excited to have you in 7th Grade Language Arts!
My Language Arts classes are designed to help you improve your communication skills through reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar exercises. We will read a wide variety of literature including, but not limited to, novels, short stories, poetry, essays, and plays.
Our emphasis will be on developing both writing skills and critical thinking skills. To succeed in this class, you must be willing to put forth the effort. There will be writing assignments, reading assignments, journaling, papers, essays, reports, and projects. Please remember to always do your best.
Although you may be involved in extra-curricular activities, your first responsibility needs to be to your schoolwork. I am always available if you need help.
