FAQ's About the Sixth Grade

(Code: FAQ= frequently asked question, MRA= Mrs. Ryan's Answer)

FAQ: Why is there a beach towel on the supply list? Is this a typo? Do I really need one?

MRA: No, this is not a typo, and yes you really need one! I can't tell you why, but trust me, you are going to want to bring one!

FAQ: Can I bring in a treat to share with the class, in celebration of my birthday?

MRA: Yes, you can! All you need to do is have a parent write me a note, letting me know what day and approximate time they will be sending it in. And please make sure you send in enough for the entire class to share!

FAQ: Will we be going on any field trips this year?

MRA: Yes, we will be going on at least 4 field trips this year! I cannot tell you where to though, or it would ruin the surprise.

FAQ: Why does my Bible, for class, have to be an NIV Bible?

MRA: It is very important that at the elementary level, all of us, in class are reading the exact same wording, when we study the Word of God. VSCA has traditionally used the NIV version of the Bible schoolwide, over the years. Students should be using a standard, adult, NIV Bible (Please, no Adventure Bible) for both class study and discussion and also scripture memorization assignments.
