Wednesday

Tonight your first grader will read the last story in our Unit 2 reading book.  Please read the short non-fiction story, A Vet with your child.  The first graders really enjoy non-fiction stories and because this story is so short, it would be a great opportunity to help your child build fluency by reading the story to them and having them read it to you two or three times. The story will be very familiar to them and they will feel comfortable reading it over and over again. Please return the book and the signed paper by Thursday, October 29.
