This is the book I will be reading when I get back from Spring Break.

February Thoughts

by Mollie

Valentine's Day is a time to have fun and spend time with your friends and sisters.  Sometimes you might think about the slaves that came before like Harriet Tubman. Harriet was very brave.  She rescued over 300 slaves.  She was also a very very very nice lady.  She died in 1913.  Sometimes when people died they like to put RIP.  Harriet Tubman's family were some of the people Harriet rescued.  She went back and got her family first.  She was one of the bravest ladies in history.  When she was a slave she liked to sing songs and dance but some people did not even like her.  He nickname was Minty.  He family loved her and she was happy about that because that was all that mattered.

Dr. Suess's birthday is in March . Every year we celabrate it.

I always get A pluses in math, science, and reading.  I am a star student.  I have four best friends.  They are Lindsey, Leantra, Abril, and Gabby.  Me and Gabby used to see each other more but now that we are in  different classes we barely get to see each other.

I am gonna read a story.  I wrote it is called The Lost Treasure.  My name is Captain  Izzy.  I am the captain of the Izzyship. I am sailing Northeast past Skullrock.  I  have  been sailing from the sea monster. We didn't see the shark until we past the mermaids. They were very very pretty.  We decided to go south.  Suddenly we ran right back into the Seamonster.  My crew and me were scared.  Ahhhhh!  Shhh!I whisperd. "If  you will be quiet maybe we can pass the seamonster." So we  went North. We hit an island  so  we got out of the Izzyship and looked around. Than we saw a red x.... Wow! Wow! Wow! "We hollerd." So  we dug a hole and saw a treasure chest and than  we   opened it. Than we saw Treasure.  So Captain Dizzy and Captain Lizzy and shared the treasure.
