Persuasive Speech

 Open a Word document.  

Create a HEADER that includes: 

your first and last name 

my name

English II pre AP   

class period

On the first line of text, include the TITLE -  Persuasion in Speeches

Select 10 techniques from the list below and find illustrative examples in the famous speeches from the websites, then copy and paste that example into your Word document.  In bold, label the example with the technique it illustrates.  Identify the technique in the example by underlining it (however much you need to illustrate the technique in question.  Be sure to identify the speaker and date of the speech.  If this information is not listed, search for it.  If you cannot find the speaker and date, you may not use that speech.    

For Example:

Alliteration
