Sept. 5, 2007
I would like to send out a big thank you to those parents who brought in the suggested supplies from the list that was sent out this summer. I wanted to wait for the turnout before I submitted to you my personal requests. So, this is a list of things that students should bring in by the end of next week.
A book bag (large enough to fit in 8 ½ by 11in. folders and notebooks)
5 folders (one of them will be used for homework assignments and notices)
2 marble notebooks (one for homework, one for class work)
A change of clothes labeled and enclosed in a plastic shoe container (many parents think their child will not need this, but accidents do happen!)
A pack of pencils
A box of Crayola crayons (16 count)
A folding mat (students usually put their heads down at their seats for a quick nap time, but if you'd like you can have your child rest on his/her own mat)
**Supplies that are brought into the classroom are community supplies. This means that it’s for the class’s use, not just for individual use and they remain in school. Students should have pencils, crayons, glue, and scissors at home also to complete homework assignments**
Thank you in advance!
