ZOO EXHIBIT PBL
In this PBL students incorporated many STEM Concepts. They focused on creating electronic presentations that incorporated biology, geology, geography and history. Students demonstrated knowledge of what it takes to put an actual zoo exhibit together. They were divided into four roles (climatologist, zoologist, botanist and geologist) in which each job is needed the other to complete their part in the PBL.

Understanding of the Blueprint Walkthroughs
Coursework focus in PBL for Masters Course Curriculum Foundations :
Director Observation of implementation of a PBL.
PBL Coach Walkthrough 3/2018
This walkthrough focuses on my strengths of promoting deep reading comprehension as well as my ability to facilitate stations with a deep understanding of content.
21st Century Skills
I have found that implementing Content Specific Roles in the classroom not only help hold accountability for group members, but also introduces real science oriented Careers helping prepare them for 21st Century Skills.
I also help the students break apart these roles to further their understanding of the 21st Century Skills to begin the research process using DOK levels.
Here are some examples of the questions we created as a class to help them begin the research and hold accountability for each role.
Action Research PBL implementation

Planned Learning Committee
I have met with my grade level Content Team on Wednesdays of this year to discuss the best way help our students by discussing students and classroom management, analyzing student data, PBL reflections, and sharing professional development ideas with our team members.
I have also met a few times in the Spring Semester 2017 and in Fall and Spring 2018 with my Vertical ELA/SS Team to discuss best content practices and brainstorm PBL content ideas.
