EXEMPLAR STAR AWARD PROGRAM!
In our classroom we use exemplars, or model examples, to help our students understand our expectations and as a resource to ensure our students are able to demonstrate mastery of the Georgia Performance Standards. In turn, this will help our students strive for excellence and be successful in the academic achievement leading to graduation.
Students that receive the exemplar star award will receive the exemplar letter, enbrossed with the exemplar star seal. They will also receive a small incentive reward, such as pens or pencils. The student's work will be showcased in the classroom and used as a model for other classes. In addition to this, the one student that receives the most exemplar star awards over the course of the year will be awarded the highly coveted exemplar star trophy!
