What is Permutations?

Permutations is clearly an ordered combination. They are also called arrangement numbers or orders. Permutation is the arrangement of objects with ordering of same and different objects in different ways. Permutation is always greater than combination as in combination we neglect the ordering of the same objects in different ways. Ordering is very important in permutation.

For example,"The combination to the safe was 472".Now we do care about the order."724" would not work, nor would "247".It has to be exactly 472.
