- De Anza College's Environmental Study Area- Learn about plant and animal communities of California on this free one-hour tour! 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino, CA 95014
- Build a classroom terrariums: Use an old, clean fish tank with small plants (e.g., succulents, ferns, and mosses) planted in shallow layers of soil and pebbles.
