I am happy to say that I am in my 7th year of teaching. Although, I have been at Nob Hill Elementary since 2000, I started as a paraprofessional in the InD cluster. I had several different hats as a para, I worked in the cluster and with the Speech Pathologists. While working I also went to school to become an ESE Teacher and graduated from FAU in 2005. I started teaching in the InD cluster in August of 2005 with the younger students. Since becoming a teacher, I have taught 4 years in the InD cluster, 1 year in 4th grade, and 2 years in Pre-K Primary. I have enjoyed working with all the age groups but while in the cluster I enjoy working with the older multi-age students, helping them begin their journey towards middle school.
On a personal note, I have 2 children, both in college, my daughter is a senior at FSU (go Noles) and my son is a freshman at USF (go Bulls).
