DAILY BULLETIN

October 21, 2020

 

Titans, we are continuing to make Palo Verde as safe as possible for students, staff, and guests. Mandatory temperature checks will begin for all entering campus. Please follow the steps below:

1. From 7:30am – 8:00am stop at the guard shack or go to the top of English where you sign in to get your temperature checked. Once checked please sign in on the attestation form.

2. If you arrive prior to 7:30am please go to one of the two locations to get your temp checked starting at 7:30.

3. If you arrive after 8:00am please go to the guard shack to get your temp checked prior to entering the building.

Please always remember to wear your mask. Thank you for your commitment to the wellbeing of yourself and others.

 

 

Fall athletes, official practice has already started. We have moved to Phase two and we have strict protocols to ensure as safe an environment as possible. You will have to sign fill out all forms in ATS (6) and answer a Covid-19 screening questionnaire daily, have a valid physical on an AIA form, and complete the AIA Brainbook education course (only if you've never done this course). You will not be allowed to practice on campus with your coaches until all these are complete and your physical is turned in (you can bring it with you to practice). We will not be accepting fees at this time.

Please reach out to your head coach or wait for them to provide you practice times and dates. If you are interested in a fall sport but haven't previously signed up for one, please email jason.karn@tusd1.org so I can add you to the sport of your choice. Freshmen need to email me directly for instructions.

Golf and Swimming has been cancelled for 2020. Cheer will begin in winter. Cross country: jason.karn@tusd1.org, timothy.riley2@tusd1.org Girls Volleyball: mybarra32@gmail.com Football: mikew749@gmail.com

 

Attention Titans, we will be conducting a holiday food drive for our Titans families in need. Starting November 2nd, 2020, you can drop off any non-perishable item at the shack between 8:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday – Friday. Please help us provide them a special meal for the holidays. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Tucker.

A city-wide interactive virtual dialogue between high school students and community leaders on topics that matter to youth! Dialogue Topics: Digital Access, Career Readiness, Social Justice, College Access, Covid-19 Issues, Health Education Mental Health, Quality Education, Substance Abuse, Support Systems, Teen Suicide and Violence.
