MILITARY MINISTRIES - COOKIES FOR TROOPS

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS WONDERFUL PROJECT 
BY EITHER BAKING COOKIES, ASSISTING WITH FINANCIAL NEEDS, OR BOTH!

Dear Ms. Gullick & Students:  (this letter is from Military Ministries of Nokomis)

Thank you for your participation in our 10th Annual Christmas Cookies for the troops. These cookies serve as a way to show our men and women serving in the Military how much we care about them.

Below are the statistics for this year's event:

1. 30 parcel post boxes were mailed on November 16th.

2. 28 mailed to Afghanistan and 2 to Kuwait.

3. 15,000 Christmas Cookies were in those boxes. That's 1250 dozen!

4. They weighed 821 pounds.

5. Postage was $1,293.54.

6. Donations were $2,762.00.

7. Hundreds of Christmas Cards included with the cookies.

The additional monies will be used to purchase items and pay for postage of monthly care packages.

Thank you for your time, talent and treasure in making this event a huge success.
