Acceptable Use Policy for Technology in our Classroom
-Handle technology with care- Students are prohibited to run with or misuse technology.- Students are not allowed to slam iPads on their desk.- Students are to carry technology using two hands.
-No food or drink near technology
-Never change settings
-Surf safely- do not surf websites not already pre-approved
-Student will report any accidental encounter that makes them uncomfortable
-Never give out your personal information
-Respect others while online- The school’s zero-tolerance on bullying applies to online
- Replace iPads and cameras back on charger dock when finished.
-Cell phones are to be on silent and out of sight unless specified differently from the teacher.
-Students should never download or install any program or app without teacher’s permission.
Students will be held accountable for their actions and will loss privileges if they violate the policy.
As a parent or guardian of a student I have read the Classroom Policy for Technology. I have been informed about the appropriate use of the Internet at school and I understand this agreement will be kept on file at the school.
