Responsible for finances, advertising, schedule of events, instruction of arts and crafts, direction of daily activities and behavior management. Designed, created and maintained the Recreation Department’s website and email account. Organized the first annual Veazie Rec Fight Against Hunger, raising approximately 700 food items for Manna Soup Kitchen. Actively coordinated all special events, including the Halloween Hullabaloo, Parent Night, Spring Fling and other educational celebrations. Other responsibilities included creating flyers and organizing teams for all sport seasons. Originated and instructed a new scrapbooking program for children in grades 1-5.

After School Recreation Program Coordinator (11/2006 – 2/2007)

Planned and executed activities including crafts, sports, computer education and homework assistance. Initiated the first annual Talent Show for the children. Planned and executed the youth co-ed basketball season, coordinating teams and schedules for the seven week program.
