NBPTS and NETS-T Reflections

Here are the links to the standards:

I find these standards to be important to my growth as a teacher. From NETS-T, I would select standard one (facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity)  as the most relevant for me as a kindergarten teacher. This I think is something I can include in any lesson, whether it includes technology or not.

Picking one from the NBPTS was difficult because they all spoke to me, but I think the most relevant was proposition one (teachers are committed to their students and their learning). This speaks volumes to me because a teacher's career is all about the students. Students, their well-being, and their learning is what should always come first to an educator.

NETS-T 1 NBPTS 2
NETS-T 2, 3 NBPTS 3
NETS-T 5 NBPTS 4, 5

I think these sets of standards work well together and do not conflict one another, although NETS-T focuses on technology and NBPTS is not technology centered.
