Located 3 miles west of Rusk, off of Highway 84. Many seasonal events each year, including:

Heritage Center of Cherokee County Museum in Rusk, Tx
Just off the courthouse square. Free to the public. Lots of historical information about Cherokee County, interesting exhibits.
The Rusk Footbridge
Just off the courthouse square, first built in 1861, it is believed to be the longest footbridge in the nation at 546 feet long.
Jim Hogg City Park
Located 2 miles east of Rusk off of Highway 84 and Fire Tower Road.
offers historical information, playgroung equipment, and a covered picnic area.
South Main Street, the original site of Rusk College founded in 1894. Several flights of stairs with a historical marker.
