Welcome to my website. My name is Sandra Chalifoux and I have the great fortune of being your child's teacher this year. I have been a special education teacher for 26 years. This is my seventh year teaching at Fox Meadows Elementary School.
Here are a few things that you should know about your child's school year. I will be sending home an "A.N.T. folder" every night. This notebook will contain important papers, notices, and homework. Please check this folder every night. This folder will be our main mode of daily communication. Your child will also have homework every night (Monday - Thursday). He/she will receive a homework syllabus (Week At A Glance) every Monday. Please check the syllabus nightly and help your child do the homework for the appropriate night. I will also be using an app this year called Remind. This will be a great way to stay in communication with each other. A paper on how to set it up will be sent home. Please let me know if you have any trouble.
