ADHD - Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
ADHD is misunderstood by many people. Educators are no different. Many educators think that if a child is misbehaving, he/she must have ADHD. Most of the research points at other areas that should be looked at before calling it ADHD.

Learning disabilities is the most frequently classified of the 13 disabilities outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act. The addition of Response-to-Intervention was added to the law to help educators distinguish between those students with true learning disabilities and those with learning problems.
