"Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway." -John Wayne
I am a native Kansan, brought here by fate. Growing up as a kid we showed Quarter Horses quite often in Oklahoma and I always knew wanted to live here. Well, growing up on a ranch, the call of the "Cowboys" called me and in 1991, after the birth of my daughter, Sasha Nicole" I moved to the Keystone Lake area and attended TCC , gave birth to my son, Joshua, and received my associates degree.. I then pursued my bachelors in education in 1995 from "the" state's school , OSU.
I have taught in Oklahoma and in Missouri over the past 20 years, with a break for a year to obtain my national therapeutic horsemanship certification which combined both of my loves and the two things that I am good at; teaching and horses.
I have two children, 6 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren . I am engaged to a wonderful man, Jerry, and we enjoy many activities including motorcycle riding ,boating, and camping to name just a few.
I am new to Owasso Public Schools and am very excited to be here. My teaching assignment is at the Mid-High teaching special education English and Science.
