2. These are Grammar Exercises I said I would post. I will indicate on your work which grammar exercises should be your focus (based on your needs). Each link is to the first exercise in each category and the directions about how to use the site, but there are more practices you can access when you are done with Exercise 1.
- Sentences: Simple, Compound, and Complex: A common weakness in writing is the lack of varied sentences. Becoming aware of three general types of sentences--simple, compound, and complex--can help you vary the sentences in your writing. The most effective writing uses a variety of the sentence types explained in writen words and in a video at the bottom of the page.
