Missed work policy: Students are responsible for ALL coursework. If a student is absent from class, assignments or labs due on the day of the absence must be submitted the first day back to school. If absent on the day of a test, a written excuse from a parent or guardian is required in order to write a make-up test.
Laboratory safety: All students will take part in a laboratory tour encompassing all safety aspects of the lab. After participation in this tour, students will be given a school safety contract outlining everything covered on the tour. This contract must be signed by both the student and a parent/guardian and returned to Ms Nielsen prior to the first laboratory. Without a signed contract, students are not permitted to take part in labs.
