Our homework schedule will be the same each week. Homework is meant to be extra practice doing what we have just learned in class. Your child will probably enjoy “teaching” you what s/he learned and how to do the homework. I love to hear that a caring adult is helping (or just standing by) when a child is working on our assignments. If your child has any trouble or it takes longer than 20 to 30 minutes to complete it, please let me know. Homework that is not completed at home will be finished during playtime.
Monday: Read the story from the reading book. Do the spelling activity.Tuesday: Read the phonic reader. Do 2 rounds of math flashcards.
Wednesday: Read the story from the reading book. Study for the spelling test.
Thursday: Do the math worksheet. Read for fun!
Friday: Study the new spelling words. Do 2 rounds of math flashcards. Read for fun! Play hard! Eat well! Rest well! Enjoy your weekend and come tell Mrs. Snow about it on Monday!
