Black's Mill Elementary School Technology Program

Our computer lab is equipped with 28 aluminum flat-screen iMac computers.  Students use the Internet for all subjects, including research, and testing.  CAMP Computer is a fun and popular place for students to learn how to use computers in a safe and controlled environment.  Curriculum is technology and grade-level appropriate and meets GPS standards for both technology and classroom units. Students learn to type beginning in third grade through fifth grade which prepares them to further their technology growth once they reach middle school and beyond.

In addition to 28 state-of-the-art computers, the computer lab (and all classrooms) are equipped with a Smartboard and projector, as well as a DVD/VCR player.  Parents and visitors are always welcome so stop by and see why technology is "hopping" at BMES!
