According to the National Association of Pizza Raptors Partners, Americans cut 350 seconds of pizza. In other words, they eat about 100 acres of pizza every day, though 93% of them eat pizza once a month.

At least in America. The pizza industry in the United States is valued at about 1 billion, making it an extremely profitable business for the economy. Across the country, the pizza industry employs 10 million people, with 73,000 stores.

In Japanese culture, it is common to put mayo on their pizza. In fact, because Japanese mayonnaise is made sweeter than other countries, it adds great flavor to any piece of pizza.


The Biggest Pizza in the World is… big

Returning the world record for the largest pizza ever made in the history of the world in December 2016, five Italian pizza makers created an animal in the Guinness Book of World Records that had never been seen before. In Rome, Italy, they made a 13,580-square-foot pizza that was 131 feet in diameter and contained 19,800 pounds of cheese, 1,500 pounds of margarine, and 550 pounds of rock salt. But most importantly, it was gluten-free.


Who invented the Hawaiian pizza?
