Your BMI, or body mass index, is an rough guide to how much you should weigh.

Here is the formula to calculate your own BMI:for pounds and inches;BMI=[weight/ (height x height)] x 703 

For example, if you are 5 ft. 1in. and you weigh 105 pounds, your BMI would be 19.8, which would be normal.
