Author Studies
Introduction
The purpose of this pathfinder is to assist users in locating information for author studies taught within the Mongomery County Public School system. Author studies encourage a love of literature, introduce students to a variety of authors and genres, the purposes for which authors write, and ecourages students to explore the work published by a single author. Students develop an understanding how an author's life experiences influence what they write and are encouraged to try new writing techniques and styles in their own writing.
