Objective: Civil War






Students will be introduced to the civil war in class discussion with the instructor. Assignment: In class and homework if not completed is to decided what the pros and the cons of the civil war were

Students and instructor will discuss the pros and the cons of the civil war. Assignment students will take a fun facts quiz about the civil war to be completed at home.

Students will view a short film about the civil war. Assignment: Students will complete a short questionnaire about the video and will discuss in class.

Students will be broken up into two groups North and South. Students will discuss in their groups about their side. They will then prepare arguments to be presented in a debate tomorrow.

Students will have a debate defending their views on the civil war. Students will be graded on the knowledge gained, information presented, and teamwork.
