Mrs. Julie Strickland is an Alpharetta native and a product of Fulton County Schools. She graduated from Valdosta State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She's certified to teach all academic subjects in grades Pre K-5 and Language Arts and Social Studies in grades 6-8. She's taught 2nd-5th grades over the past 18 years. Out of those 18 years of teaching, Julie has taught at Manning Oaks for 14 years.
Julie has been happily married to Trey Strickland for 16 years. They enjoy hiking and exploring in the great outdoors, going to the beach, going to concerts, dining out, and spending time with their family and friends.
An avid runner of nearly 30 years, Julie competes in various local 5K races that benefit charities that are dear to her. She's also finished a number of Peachtree Road Races in Atlanta over the years.
