My name is Terri Alexanian and I am a second year teacher at Ethan A. Chase Middle School. I teach sixth grade, math and science, for the special day class as well as provide specialized academic instruction to students with an IEP in the learning center.
"Every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.
- Rita Pearson, Educator
I teach because I want to be that champion! I want to cheer and encourage my students to never give up but to always strive for their best! I want to be a teacher not just of content, but an Education Specialist who supports all students' needs. I want to ensure they are support and enjoy coming to school. I want to support students who may struggle in certain areas; to support them so they do not feel frustration but the sucess of their own achievements. I want to teach to touch lives and to inspire our youth. I want them to know it is important to work hard, care for others, and never say that they can't do something. I hope these thoughts and ideas will stay with my students and help them grow throughout their lives.
