Had an extensive amount of methods classes at SVSU that have prepared me to be an excellent, highly qualified teacher

Have experience teaching lessons in a variety of settings (urban, suburban, and rural)

Frequently subbing in a Cognitively Impaired classroom has helped me to respond well to diversity in the classroom and I am comfortable adapting and modifying instruction

Have a strong desire to participate in school and community activities outside of the classroom

Small business ownership has allowed me to feel comfortable in a leadership position

Am able to confidently use technology in the classroom

Have been on the Dean’s or President’s List throughout my college experience

Have a family and am able to multitask

Have traveled extensively within the United States, and have visited other countries

Am trained in administering DIBELS testing
