factor: a number that is multiplied by another number to find a product
product: the result of multiplication
quotient: the number, not including the remainder, that results from dividing
inverse operation: operations that undo each other
fact family: a set of related multiplication and division equations using the same numbers
multiple: the product of a given number and another whole number
Identity Property: the property that states the product of 1 and any number is that number
Zero Property: the property that states the product of 0 and any number is 0
Commutative Property: the property that states you can multiply two factors in any order and get the same product
Associative Property: the property that states you can group factors in different ways and get the same product
