With the digital age in full swing, computers are not the only piece of technology making its appearance in the classroom. Teachers all over the world are fully embracing technology and using it enhance their teaching, motivate their students and in some cases…go paperless!
Computers are costly, and in most cases cannot be purchased for every student within a school. However there are smaller hand-held digital devices that are much cheaper that can do many of the same things that a computer can do. And these are the devices many teachers are turning to within their classrooms. Some teachers are even writing their own grants in order to acquire such technology in their classrooms. However it is acquired technology has become an important tool within the classroom.
