Grade Level Content Specific Resources

Since beginning with the school district,  I have been using several websites to enhance my curriculum, as well as reading blogs from parents who have children with special needs.  These are the ones that I visit the most:

dyan@andnextcomesl.com  This blog is by a mom who has 2 young sons.  I don't know why she chose topics related to autism.  Her printables are ready to use in the classroom right away.

katie@giftofcuriosity.com  This website has lots of free printables that you can use every day.  Printables are

categorized according to holiday, age group (up to age 11), seasonal and more.  There are also activities divided into type, such as literacy and math, themes, age and she also has book lists to augment the activities.

CECservice@cec.sped.org           This is a website that offers articles related to topics in special education.  I know that the research is factual, and the articles that I read are always interesting.

prekinders.com                    This is another  website that offers free printables.  I don't have access to a color printer, so I appreciate that  she prints activities in black and white as well as color.
