Sorting Data Help:

Document should look like Picture Figure UR-2 on page 358. Borders and shading must be complete. Your bird pictures may be different. Find bird pictures on the internet, right click picture and “save as”, then copy and paste pictures in. Also copy url address of site where you got each picture paste under the pictures. Finally, use spell-check at end of document:  F-7 or ABC checkmark on Review Ribbon.

Project 26- Pet Store

Pages 122-124 Follow all instructions as in the book.

Clip Art Help: Right click on clip art, click on “text wrapping”, and click on “Square.” This will allow you to left click and the picture into the position you want.

4)You must have 3 clip arts, each no more than 3" inches square (Use the View tab's ruler). One clip art in the center of a page, one to the right side of a page,  and one on the left. We right click the picture and select "text wrapping" then select "square."

5) Appearance: You may want to make it look like a poem by adjusting margins: Page Layout, Margin, Custom margins, set left and right margins then...we found 1.5 to 4 to be ok, but adjust them to you liking.

6) Use spellcheck -  use F7 after woord or end of project. Spellcheck also found on "Review" tab,  click the "ABC" check mark on left side of screen.

Use the drag and fill shortcut..

Column D:

Left click and drag from D2 through D13 and select Wingdings in font box.

The formula =IF(B2=12,"J","L") is entered in cell D2.

While on cell D2, Left click and drag formula down through cell D13.

In each row from D3 through D13, you will have to change the number after B_= so it matches correct answer to the in the row’s A column.

If the answer is correct in column B, a smile face should appear in the D column; If the answer is wrong, a frown face should appear

Making a Table in Word

1. In a word document, select "Table" on top tool bar
2. Select "Insert", enter number of rows and columns, Select "Ok."
3. Need more rows? Press Tab key in last cell and another row appears.
4. To merge cells: left click and drag to hi-lite, then right click, tap on "merge cells."

Here is how to save your document to the computer:

File (Located in upper right hand corner)

Save As

Select where to save (I will show you how)

Title the document

Tap on "Save"
