Psychology:

Hey gang,
Hope you're all hanging in there!!! Thanks so much to all of you who have touched base.....I think we're all going a little stir crazy!!! Try to evaluate, and think about the things we have talked about in class this year. It's certainly a great time to observe people as they are under stress....not that we needed this as a reminder, but it's interesting for you to ponder.
Would like you all to do a Psychology Today if you are so inclined. As you know, the assignments are not mandatory, but it would probably do you some good to read a few of the articles, and keep your writing skills sharp. I promise to respond to each one I get....putting something together for next week that will hopefully peak your interest.
Stay safe!!!!
Miss you all,
Mr. K

All US History classes:

Hey guys,
Mr. Keenan here.....great to hear from those of you who wrote back. The link below will take you to a US History project, that I have found to be both educational, and meaningful to students over the years. You select one to the 3 headings. (News, pop culture, or sports.) There are 20 items under each heading. You select 12 of the 20, and interview people about their memories of the topic. In effect, you are a collector of historical memories....this is especially great to do with Grandparents if they are willing to help you out. During this time, it is a great way to connect with family members. As with everything right now: PLEASE STAY SAFE.......do not go out to interview people, but use phone calls, skype, etc. are a great way to collect memories from folks.
As with everything we are doing right now, this is not mandatory, but I think you will find it is a great diversion, and a chance to learn about history from people who actually lived it during their lives.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions....
Hope you are doing well!!!
Miss you all,
Mr. K
