Welcome to Third Grade for the school year 2018-2019!

I hope you had a WONDERFUL summer.  I am so excited to get our school year started.   I need our suggestions right away in order to start off the year right.   Last year families requested printed weekly newsletters to be sent home with summaries of what will be focused on in the classroom as their favorite form of communication.  I will asking for your input during the first week of school to help me decide our best way to communicate.  Last year I also used Class Dojo which is a wonderful way for real time communication that is similar to texting but keeps cell phone numbers private.   Have you used this before?  Would you like to continue using this form of communication again this year?  I also will need a Room Mom or 2 Co-Room Moms!  I love having a parent partner to help with all things school related and as my parent volunteer organizer.  If you interested please let me know.  I appreciate the year long commitment as do our students. 

January will be Pine View's 50th Anniversary!  

This year is going to be extra special because not only will you have a great time learning but we get to celebrate 50 years of Excellence!  I look forward to a year of extra surprises to celebrate all year.
