Description

The war that began as a tax revolt grew into the first time an entire nation tried, and succeeded in breaking away from Great Britain. The scope of the war is hard to imagine, but it crossed the oceans and ended up involving about 40 million people.

Objectives

After identifying and explaining the answers to the questions, students will create a packet that meets the assignment requirements.

Essential questions

What key factors and people influenced the Revolutionary War?

Special instructions

You may work in groups up to three people. Group members may share answers, but each person turns in an individual packet.
